Flip Image

Flipping an image is a simple transformation that you should not need a photo editor for. The Flip Image tool handles it directly in your browser — upload, flip, download. No server upload, no account, no waiting. Upload your image: Click Select Image or drag and drop your file into the drop zone. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF (static). The image loads into the preview canvas instantly. Flip horizontally: Click Flip Horizontal to mirror the image left-to-right. The left side becomes the right side — useful for creating a mirror-image version of a photo, correcting a selfie that appears reversed, flipping a logo for a reversed-text design, or creating symmetrical compositions. Flip vertically: Click Flip Vertical to mirror the image top-to-bottom. The top becomes the bottom — creates an upside-down reflection effect, useful for water reflection compositions, greeting card effects, and graphic design elements. Flip both: Apply both horizontal and vertical flips to rotate the image 180° (equivalent to a 180° rotation, not a 90° rotation). Use this when you need a photo that is both mirrored and upside down. Rotate: Rotate 90° clockwise or counterclockwise for images captured in the wrong orientation. This works independently of flipping. Preview and compare: The canvas shows a live preview that updates immediately after each transformation. The original is preserved — all transformations are non-destructive until you download. Download: Click Download to save the flipped image. Choose between PNG (preserves transparency) or JPEG (smaller file size for photos). The downloaded file is named with "flipped" appended to the original filename for easy identification. All processing happens using the browser's Canvas API — your images are never uploaded to any server.
